European Translators Colleagues in Straelen, by the initiative of the Georgian National Book center, in partnership with Robert Bosch Fund and Fond of German Translation Program is delighted to announce a call for applications for a literary translation workshop in Straelen, Germany from 29 November till 4 December, 2016.

The Literary Translation Workshop will offer Georgian-German language translators the opportunity to work together and discuss the ways of translating fiction from Georgian into German.

The program consists of five days of intensive translation activity. The workshop will be led by experienced literary translators Rosemarie Tietze and Andrea Ott.

The participation is free, the travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the partner organizations.
