Representatives of leading German print media are getting aware of Georgian Literature and the cultural heritage of Georgia. Literary critics and cultural journalists of the biggest editions such as Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Die Zeit, Berliner Zeitung, Frankfurter Rundschau, Weltn24.de are invited by Georgian National Book Center. 

The visit is planned according to the program Guest of honor of Georgia at the Frankfurt book fair 2018 and aims to introduce and promote an ancient and modern culture of Georgia.

During the special program foreigner journalists will meet the representatives of GNBC, Goethe institute in Georgia, various art fields, Georgian Contemporary Authors, publishers, illustrators and Critics. They also will visit Unique Collections in Art and Science Centers including Golden Treasury of National Museum, National Center of Manuscripts, Writer’s House, etc.

German guests have already visited Mtskheta and had a tour through Old Tbilisi to introduce its architecture and history.

The project is supported by The Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection and the Goethe Institute in Georgia.
