By the support of the Georgian National Book center, in partnership with Translation House Looren and Fond of German Translation Program, literary translation workshop takes place in Switzerland at Translation House Looren from 18 November till 24 November, 2017. The Literary Translation Workshop offers Georgian-German language translators the opportunity to work on presented samples and discuss the ways of translating fiction and non-fiction literature into German. The program consists of five days of intensive translation activity. The workshop is led by experienced literary translators Rosemarie Tietze and Andrea Ott, referent – Dr. Alexander Kartozia.
