'It should from the very beginning be mentioned that Ketevan Shengelia’s poems are a pleasant exception in the existing chaos, false innovativeness and amateurism, as she builds a completely new reality, a new poetic world via simple, familiar means. Ketevan Shengelia’s poems seem to be the fragments of embodied into words dreams; at the same time the way she collects and unifies those dreams, duly reveals her vivid talent and uniqueness… Her poetry, bearing the imprint of her intensive and refined lyricism, presents one of the significant phenomena in our literature. The manner of her writing is so free, so light as if she waters flowers and thus creates the illusion of an undisturbed peace, the airy body of which scratches against the thrones of tough reality. 'What distance should you cover to come my happiness!', 'July lent me her sewed from the mist dress, butterfly her wings!'- it seems as if the net of loneliness is weaved, and the loneliness of the poet is entangled in it.” But it is a bit difficult to free yourself from that net 'with butterfly wings'; neither would it be possible to run away from the merciless and haughty white dragon of loneliness in 'the sewed from the mist dress'.
