The main “factual evidence” of this novel is Detective Gakharia, who is not an ordinary detective at all. He has one peculiarity: returns to already-solved murder cases, not for the purpose of further investigation but in order to garner wisdom about life by talking to victims’ relatives. Gakharia, is a dreamer who lives in a world of his own, and chooses this method to get under the skin of a wide range of outlaws and victims not aiming to analyze the complex factual evidence but to learn about himself and his life, the most important factual evidence of all.
