Born in 1957, in Tbilisi. In 1986 she graduated from the Department of Philology of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. 1984-1986 She has worked as editor in Association of Book lovers. She has worked at cultural-educational NGO Caucasian House Centre for Cultural Relations, since 2001. She is a teacher of Georgian language and literature. Her works have been published in literary magazines Arili and Alternativa. Rusudan Kaishauri has published four poetry collections. Her poems have been published in English, German, Lithuanian and Ukrainian languages. She has five children.
