Georgia participated at London Book Fair with national stand organized by Georgian National Book Center and supported by Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia.

Almost 100 translations of Georgian Literature published abroad and books of Georgian publishers are presented at the national stand. In purpose of Georgian Literature’s promotion, the representatives of the GNBC had several meetings with foreign colleagues, publishers and partners.

Apart of the participation at London Book Fair, the cycle of discussions related to the topic of Restoration of Georgia’s Independence is realized and several films of Georgian cinematography are shown within the project “Where Europe Meets Asia: Georgia 25 - A Cultural Feast in London marking 25 Years since the Restoration of Georgia’s Independence”.
