Opening the fifth literary forum-dialogue was organized by Georgian National Book Center. Mikhail Gorgadze the Minister of Culture and Monument Protection and Dea Metreveli the director of Georgian National Book Center have opened the event. The Literary Forum-Dialogue 2015 is being hosted by National Museum.
During the two days 10 foreigner editors, the copyright manager and editor with Georgian Colleagues, Translators, Critics and Literary Agents will discuss about the promotion of Georgian literary translations and development of Georgian Book Industry.
German and British guests will introduce working of Georgian publishing business and arrange meetings with Georgian writers throughout their working sessions, presentations and discussions.
Georgian National Book Center aims to promote Georgian literature in translations overseas, to develop existing different professions in publishing industry; to improve professional skills of Georgian Publishers, Literary Agents, Translators and Critics and to establish business cooperation with foreigner colleagues.
According to special culture program guests will visit Protected Unique Collections in Art and Science Centers including Golden Fond of National Museum, National Center of Manuscripts, National Gallery, Writer’s house, Literary Museums and act. Visitors will travel in Kakheti and Kazbegi as well where they can see Tsinandali, Sighnaghi, Gergeti Trinity Church and Darial Gorge.
