The Leipzig Book Fair officially takes start on 15th of March 2018. The opening ceremony will be attended by the Head of the project - Georgia Guest of Honour Country at FBM 2018, Minister of Culture and Sport of Georgia Mikheil Giorgadze, Director of the Georgian National Book Center Medea Metreveli, authors and publishers from Georgia. 
 

At the Leipzig Book Fair Georgia will be presented with expanded National stand designed based on  Guest of Honour Country’s brand conception. Foreign guests will have the opportunity to introduce with the translations of Georgian titles supported by Georgian National Book Center, as well as the Georgian new editions. During  the Leipzig Book Fair days a number of various literary events will be held at the National Stand.
