What part did Joseph Stalin play in Tbilisi’s ‘Rose Revolution’? In fact, who painted the masterpieces by the famous twentieth-century artist, Congo the chimpanzee in his ‘Yellow Period’? These and other interesting questions are answered in this book of collected novellas. The following fragment of the author’s foreword explains the humorous nature of the answers: ‘I doubt that Congo aka Zaire’ is going to bring me fame and glory; I’m certain it won’t bring me material riches, either, or that there is any benefit to be expected from these novellas; At least, let the reader have his mood lightened. I’m not talking through my hat, I’ve read everybody, and some of them several times.’ The collection is generously illustrated with pictures by Congo the chimpanzee and by Zaal Sulakauri.
