Chernobyl disaster (prayer) by famous Belarusian writer Svetlana Alexievich and poetry “U-turn” by the first Greek Nobel laureate Giorgos Seferis were translated into Georgian and published with support by Georgian National Book Center.

Twelve Georgian and German-language translators will participate in a literary translation workshop that takes place in Straelen, Germany (European Translators Colleagues). The seminars initiated by Georgian National Book Center collaboration with European Translators Colleagues in Straelen, in partnership with Fund of German Translators, Robert Bosch Fund, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Art Fund NRW and Goethe Institute Tbilisi will be held from 16th till 22nd of November in Straelen, Germany.

Literary Critics and Journalists of the biggest European Printed Media organizations such as The Independent, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Die Zeit and Tageszeitung met with Georgian Colleagues. The meeting of German and British guests with Georgian writers, journalists, literary critics and bloggers was hosted by the TBC Gallery.
