Book lovers celebrate World Book Day. Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia and the director of Georgian National Book Center celebrated Book Day with the young readers and adults.

Today Mikhail Gorgadze and Medea Metreveli visited children of the organization “Child and Environment” and with the help of the several Georgian publishers, Palitra L, Diogene, Bakur Sulakauri Publishing, Publishing House Elf, Karchxadze Publishing House, Bakmi, Intelekti Publishing, Artanuji, Saunje and Publishing Program Logos delivered them Children’s and young adult Literature. List of Sound Tales, Classic and Modern author’s latest editions were chosen according to their age, interests and needs.

The guests have spoken about power and importance of the reading and offered adults useful material corresponding to their age.

Nowadays Organization “Child and Environment” takes care for 160 socially disadvantaged children.
