At the Leipzig Book Fair 2015 Georgia has been presented with renovated National Stand which was organized and supported by the Georgian National Book Center and the ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia.

Translations of Georgian Literature and the latest editions of Georgian publishers are presented at the National Stand. On March 12, was held the presentation of “The Knight in the Panther’s Skin” by Shota Rustaveli. The publication was supported by the GNBC and published by German Publishing House Reichert Verlag.

With the purpose to promote Georgian literature abroad representatives of Georgian National Book Center arrange meetings with the partner organizations, managers of different international book fairs, foreign publishers, literature agents, translators.

Georgia’s participation at International Book Fairs promotes the rise of awareness of Georgian authors worldwide, to sell copyrights, and introduce Georgian literature to foreign readers.
