A school teacher from one of Rusudan Rukhadze’s stories teaches her student dreaming of becoming a writer how to distinguish between books: “A good book has yellowish pages, but a bad one has pale or greyish hue just like poison because nobody reads it.” All ten stories in the present collection have their own colour, smell and tune, while love of life brings the characters closer to each other. Hopefully, the readers will empathize with them, read and reread the book, turning its pages yellowish as fit a well-read book.
