During May 31 – June 1 2016, European publishers are getting aware of contemporary literary process in Georgia within the sixth Literary Forum and Dialogue 2016 organized by the GNBC. During the four days 12 German, Austrian, Swiss and British publishers, editors and literary agents with Georgian colleagues, translators, literary critics and agents will discuss about the promotion of Georgian literary translations abroad and development of Georgian book sector.

Foreign guests will also meet contemporary Georgian authors in order to gain the information about their works and discuss possibilities regarding further cooperation in frame of Guest of honor country presentation at FBF in 2018.

According to the special cultural program, guests will visit several local cultural and educational institutions related to Georgian culture and literature.

Partner organizations of the project are: the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection, Writers House, Georgian National Museum, Georgian National Center of Manuscripts, Literature Museum, Georgian National Parliamentary Library and Caucasian House.
