During 11-17 April 2016, the special literary program “Where Europe Meets Asia: Georgia 25 - A Cultural Feast in London marking 25 Years since the Restoration of Georgia’s Independence” organized by the Georgian National Book Center marking the date mentioned above in London.

The cycle of discussions related to the topic of Restoration of Georgia’s Independence is realized and several films of Georgian cinematography are shown within the project. Georgian origin author Boris Akunin and Georgian writers Aka Morchiladze, Dato Turashvili and Zurab Karumidze presented the most crucial periods of Georgian history and culture, as well as our country’s future perspectives to foreign colleagues and audience.

The artistic director of the project is Maya Jaggi, famouse journalist of The Guardian. The partner organizations: Asia House; Europe House; Life Through Cinema directed by Jason Osborn; Regent Street Cinema, Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia, Georgian National Film Centre, the Embassy of Georgia in the UK.
